SPANISH VILLA - Mediterranean sun - base EUROPE. SECOND home, Bright and airy, tiled throughout with rooftop, front and back terraces leading to large 15 m shared pool. Upmarket, residential area but close to all amenities. Property is detached, gated and secure making it suitable for children. Visitors welcome to visit our inland olive and almond farm when we are in Spain to sample 'rustic' country life and its fine Spanish food and wines. Also welcome at our home in Northeast Scotland.

Area Description

Torrevieja, Alicante is in Costa Blanca, South East Spain and is 4 hours from Madrid by car or 1 hour from the palm tree city of Elche. The town is a bustling seaside resort with miles of golden beaches and a variety of restaurants. Alicante provides the city scene. Torrevieja is famed for its Salt export and is reputed to have the healthiest climate in Europe. There are lovely spanish towns a short distance away such as Guadalest and Guardamar where you can enjoy the Spanish 'tapas' in one of the many restaurants or cafes. Several golf courses nearby and aquaparks as well as Terra Mitica theme park near Benidorm.

A car would be useful
Torrevieja is served by 2 Airports, Alicante and Murcia approx. 35 mins journey,which are ideal for visiting London, Amsterdam, Paris, Dublin, etc. using low cost carriers. The local bus 'E' is a minute's walk from the house and will take you into town and beaches, a distance of 3 km. There are local bus services to outlaying villages and towns as well as a train station.
